The DACG, Inc. Construction Services Team
Our construction services team includes President Heather McCandless who manages the daily operations of DACG. Heather is a certified General Contractor and holds a Florida General Contractor license. She comes with 13 years of experience in the industry supported by an Associates of Arts in Business Management from Valencia State College. She oversees operations, finance, business development and client services. Heather also holds the OSHA Authorized Construction Training Card following her recent successful completion of OSHA #500 Trainer Certification in OSHA Standards for Construction. She is a member of the Sealant Waterproofing and Restoration Institute and formerly served on the Ambassador Committee of the Central Florida Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC).
Another construction services team member is Jamie McCandless, who is responsible for daily construction operations, oversees field activities and related construction scheduling. He ensures milestones are met and budgets remain on track. He brings nearly two decades of industry expertise to his role as the primary client liaison that coordinates with all stakeholders on each project. He has in depth experience in facilities in both the public and private sector with projects ranging up to $60 million. Additionally, Jamie has LEED project experience and is adept in all phases of green construction practices. Jamie has utilized Building Information Modeling (BIM) for many projects. Using this information technology has allowed him to save owners time and money by making sure work schedules and material orders are accurate and design issues are quickly resolved.
